1. Healthier Living - Eh, I need to get back to walking this week.
2. Cleanup - I can’t find a shredder that I like that isn’t $300. I’m trying to figure out whether or not I’d actually like to spend that on a good home shredder that doesn’t shut off every two minutes.
3. Website Growth - It’s a very solid July. Much better than last year’s July, and I’m hoping August ‘07 will kick some serious ass!
1. Healthier Living - Um, no comment after the weekend. The Nachos were worth it though.
2. Cleanup - I brought a ton of stuff to Goodwill last week! Hooray, that’s finally done! I still need to tackle my office closet, and I think I’m going to start looking at renovating the office to open it up a bit. It’s to cluttered and tight right now, so on the short list are cleaning up the closet, getting a new computer desk, removing the old entertainment center, removing the coffee table and finding some comfortable chairs.

1. Healthier Living - Bad weekend. Bad Hardee’s! BAD BAD BAD. lol. Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled food this week.
2. Cleanup - The walk-in closet is looking mighty good. And the bedroom drawers are slowly getting cleaned out. It feels good to get a lot of this crap out of the house!
3. Website Growth - July ‘07 is slightly behind June, but I’m getting some solid numbers. Go figure. I’m sure next month will open up some traffic again.
Well, it’s been half a year. So far, I’m pleased. A lot of things are coming together nicely in 2007, after a hell of a rough start to the year.
1. Healthier Living - So far, so good. I’m working more fruit into my day, time for some more veggies. And I realized over the weekend that I need to get more good protein back into my diet. My brain has been a little mushy lately and I think that’s why.
2. Cleanup - This is the week for the first go around of Goodwill stuff. The old computer monitor and my old, old, old Sony stereo (that still works) is headed out the door too.

*** In bonus news, I finished installing more CFLs in the house. I put a daylight version in my master bedroom, and for a lot of people I think it might be too “cold” of a light, but I like it. Nice and clean. Eventually I need to replace that ceiling fan with a unit that can take more than one bulb, since it’s still a little dim in there for my liking, even with a 60 watt equivalent. I’m also testing out a new air filter in the A/C unit, one with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in it. We’ll see if it’s any better than the hogs hair version.
1. Healthier Living - It’s July 5th… time to get back on track.
2. Cleanup - Goodwill stuff will be going out the door next week!
3. Website Growth - June ‘07 was the best month in the history of ScalpEm.com. Go figure!
1. Healthier Living - Um… yeah… let’s just say it’s back on track after my birthday on the 4th.
2. Cleanup - I need to ship out some stuff to Goodwill after the 4th. I’d like to get rid of some stuff in my office closet too. Time to chuck some of that old software.
3. Website Growth - June ‘07 is going to be my best month so far. Which is odd, since it’s generally a dead month, but a couple of controversial articles has helped readership. Even better, Chevrolet has been advertising on the site through a CPM campaign. A couple of extra pennies each day is a good thing!
1. Healthier Living - I’m still doing good here, even though my walking routine is out of whack. The weather over the summer isn’t going to help either. I’ll figure something out though. And I really need to try to work in more veggies.
2. Cleanup - I’ve started part of the Goodwill list, I just have to get a bunch of it organized and out of the house. Then it’s on to the large task of shredding and filing paperwork.
3. Website Growth - For June ‘06 to June ‘07 year… 1.7 million hits, 600,000 page views and over 230,000 unique visitors to ScalpEm.com. Cool!
1. Healthier Living - The week off to heal my knee was good. My shoulder, hand, wrist and back are much better off too. It’s back to walking most days of the week again!
2. Cleanup - I’m going to start the Goodwill pile this week, to get some of it out of the house.
3. Website Growth - Welcome to the summer lack-of-new doldrums! ScalpEm has grown a lot over the past year, and I hope to continue the growth streak starting in August, when football news and excitement will be in full form.
1. Healthier Living - Softball is over. It’s time to heal! Anyway, hopefully the summer rains won’t affect my walks too much, and I’m going to make an effort to eat more fruits and veggies now.
2. Cleanup - Well, it’s June and it’s time to really start attacking the paper work that needs to go and my closet. It shouldn’t be awful if I do a little bit each day. Plus, I’m hoping that I can find a good bit of stuff to donate to Goodwill.

1. Healthier Living - Life’s looking good. I feel good. Seriously, I can’t complain too much.
On top of all of that, I had some wonderful company over the weekend. Good company is like melted cheese, it makes everything better. hahaha.
2. Cleanup - I’m going to remain with the June plan for now. It’s not like my house is dirty, but I do need to clean out some paperwork and closet clutter.
3. Website Growth - It’s leveled off to where I think it will stay for the summer, however I got a sponsor for the site, TickCo, a ticket broker. They’ve paid for a year! Woohoo!
