NBC Life – One Plus One Equals One
Sadly, last night was probably the last for Crews and Reese, and I still have some questions that I’d like to be answered. But, if the Season 2 finale is the series finale, then I’m not upset. It was a great episode, and true to form, had a wonderfully Zen saying at the end…
what we learned as children

we know to be false

we even have a word
for when you plus another equals one
that word… is love.

The finale to this season was subdued but I enjoyed it quite a bit. You can tell this season was about getting more information so that the last three ?’s will be filled in. Cheers.

i am pleased that it wasn’t all cliffhanger-esque like some shows go- if the show doesn’t get renewed i will still be sad- it’s great- but i feel at least some sense of closure.

Love the show. Charlie Crews is one of the more compellign character’s on TV and the writing is layered and methodikcal, so it’s not surprising that the show never really found a folowing among the general audience and is likely to be canceled. It would be shame.
the season (and likely series finally) was a great example of what’s possible. i think they left enough open and unanswered just in case NBC brings it back. Fortunately for fans, NBC has absolutely nothing else going on so what do they have to lose?

that is the way the life seems to be . i really love the show, and i’m still working on it. Charlie is a funny guy, sometimes sophisticated, sometimes pretty simple. i love it.

LIFE is a great series I hope they bring it back!! Crews is smart and funny. The show is definately entertaining.
Other shows I watch is The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Heroes, Fringe, Dexter, Lost,
I love Life and I love the relationship between Crews and Reese, I hope we get to see it develop further. That quote was a great quote, really touching and suited the mood of that last scene so well – can’t wait for next season.
Hopie I HOPE we get a next season… even if it’s on USA Network or something. Sadly, I’m not going to hold my breath. If only NBC had bothered to set Life up with some advertising it might have done better. Everyone I know that ended up liking either had never heard of it, or had skipped past it once or twice without taking 10 minutes to watch it.

As far as I know it doesn’t actually exist, it was a prop made by NBC.
this was such a nice show, i hope we get another season.
wonderful show, wonderful characters, and unlike most great shows that probably won’t be brought back it had a wonderful ending. the season 2 finale left me with a feeling of closure, even though i would love the show to continue on i wouldn’t feel betrayed as a viewer if it didn’t.
LOVE THE END OF S2. love the show, lots of new questions like cruise n Reese? Olivia? cant wait for s3!
I really liked the end of Season 2. If you go back and watch the season again, you pick up on more of the little hints and suggestions that lead up to the way the finale ends. I think they would have had enough for a satisfying Season 3; there are three people still connected with Crew’s time in prison that have not been disclosed as well as the potential love triangle between Reese, Crews and Tidwell. Not to mention, what were they going to end of up doing with Gabrielle Union’s character and her running for mayor? So, it’s a shame. All the actors had a great ensemble chemistry though I’m sure they will go on to other good things. Also, I wanted to see what would happen to Ted Early going off to Spain. Oh well…
I really cannot believe that this show is cancelled. It’s making me lose hope that any network will ever put a good show on. This was, by far, one of the better shows that NBC has produced and now they’re cancelling it because the majority of the TV watching world is too stupid to understand this show and the meaning behind each episode. For the small percentage of us who actually watched and loved this show, we take it as a great loss. And I totally agree with Sarah’s comment. It would have been great to see a third season because the ending to season two was fantastic!

And as beautiful as the season finale was….
I’m super sad to see the show go..
I feel a bit unsatisfied.. there were things left unresolved.. and that bugs me to no end..
True.. other shows that have been canceled in the past were even less fortunate.. no resolution whatsoever.. But still…
What really happened with Ted?…Rachel?…the other men missing from Crews’s wall?.. does Crews eventually win the affections of Reese over Tidwell? What happens to Tidwell? etc.. I really wish i could have witnessed the answers to all of these questions via my tv xD
But.. regardless. That finale was outstanding.
here’s hoping another network will scoop the series up and rescue it from total abandon #bringbacklife
Great show… I can only hope that another network has the insight to understand the following associated with this show and bring it back. Until then we are left with Leno everynight, no thanks….
Its a sad state of afair. Life is gone but it will be one the few shows in history that will end at the very TOP ! This last episode was one the greatest I have seen on TV. Some times the END is not the end, its just a new begining…
Really missing this show this year! What a great show….what a great ending…..can’t wait to see what the cast does next.
I want another series. Do it please. Nothing much else to watch.
was an awesome series, i also woulda like a copy of that zen tape lol! i think the guy who narrates it is the guy from heroes? was a shame k ville and life got axed they wer summin a lil different from the csis n law n orders or this world!

Up to this wonderful, awesome Series, i don´t liked Police or Crime Scene TV-Shows/Series.
Charlie Cruze/ Damian Lewis, was the perfect actor for this personality, That’s beyond question.
I saw the last episode sadly only in english so i can´t understand all of the text, sometimes it was too fast for my school english ( xD ) but i´ve seen all other parts in german and know that in life often one plus one equals two! I hope you´ll will understand what i mean
I was very sad as i read that life will stopped after season two, because this is one of the best Show/series that i know.

I just saw the last episode and it realy mooved me with “one plus one equals one”. Crews was one of my favourite ways of spending tuesday evenings. On same level i would put Dr.House, Californication, and Desperate Housewifes.

I’m pretty sure that’s the end of it Karen, I think everyone has moved on to other projects. I’m sad that USA didn’t pick it up, I thought it would be a good fit there and with some advertising it would have done well. NBC moved the show around way too much, and never bothered to promote it.
