Week 18 - Resolutions
1. Healthier Living - Yep yep, things are well back on track after a lackluster March and April. May’s been good so far, thanks to some wonderful weather, softball and lots of walking. I really like the walking, it gives me time to think about everything and nothing. Although, I must admit, I would like some company sometimes. Who wants to go walking with me?
2. Cleanup - I think I’ll be doing a lot of this in June, once softball is over and I have two extra nights per week to take care of stuff like that. It’s not like anybody would know that there is stuff that needs to be 86′d, but I know, and that’s what matters.
3. Website Growth - News is going to slow down within the next month, and so will my posting to ScalpEm, but I do expect to keep good amounts of traffic heading into football season. Frankly I think it’s cool that Randy Beard read my comment on his blog, and stopped by ScalpEm to reply to my post. Thanks again Randy.

Van Halen - Right Now
I watched this video this morning while I was eating my Cheerios… and I was amazed at the fact that it holds up 16 years after its release. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

CFL Savings Update
Remember those CFLs I installed to replace my globe lights and my main light bulbs in the house? I guess they are working.
April 2006 (kwH) 468
April 2007 (kwH) 263
Granted, there are some other factors at play here, like use of air conditioning and the fact that my old school monitor was replaced by a more efficient LCD, but the bulbs are a large part of it. I’m interested to see what May ends up light, since I’ve installed that programmable thermostat for the AC / Heat.
Let’s just hope I don’t break a CFL!
